New work, new gallery

I know, I've been dreadfully neglectful of this here blog recently. I've been putting together a boatload of new pieces for a gallery that's opening in nearby Shelburne Falls this weekend. Here's a look at some of the 36 original pieces that will be featured at Grow Gallery. If you're in the area, you should stop in on Saturday, May 1 for the grand opening—complete with champagne! 55 Bridge Street, 4-7pm, yo.

This is one of my all-time favorite pieces, Solar Quartz with sterling circles and rough black diamonds and my own handmade clasp (I also did one in gold, with Rutilated Quartz and rough gray diamonds, but I didn't get a photo because, well, I'm a dolt.)

I've been digging on Fluorite recently, I love the way it's naturally shaded.

Rubies! They just speak of luxury to me.

Some new stackers, this is a great pairing of Chryscolla and Pyrite.

And an impossibly romantic pearl earring and necklace set. They actually came out even prettier than they were in my head. Love it when that happens.

Thanks for putting up with my sporadic posting, and have a lovely, inspiration-filled day (and stop by Grow Gallery in Shelburne Falls to see these exclusives if you're in the area!)

Procrastination.

This is what happens when I have stuff to do.

Anyone want to write an artist statement and select some primary images of my work for me? Because I clearly have some very important photos of toys in moss to take. And don't forget flowers—in a variety of spots around the house, natch. I can't be expected to do actual *work* today.

I have to say, though, they definitely have a nice Easter flavor, no?
