 Over two hundred pages of holiday inspiration and practical projects, the just-launched Gifted Magazine is just gorgeous. Ez from Creature Comforts put it all together, and I was so, so honored when she asked me to be a part of it. You can find a little behind-the-scenes sneak peak at my holiday line (debuting Nov. 10!) in the magazine.

A little pretty, a little panic

I awoke at 6am this morning in a vague panic about everything I need to accomplish to get my new line launched and ready for the holiday season. Fabrication, photos, ads that need designing... Consider me officially a little overwhelmed. It doesn't help that it's been soooooooo gorgeous here recently. It does help that today is gross and rainy - perfect for spending all day at my workbench. {more photos of recent fall loveliness here.}

Traditions.

This past weekend was the 41st annual Ashfield Fall Festival. Personally, it was my 27th Fall Festival. There's something so magical about watching your normally sleepy small town (very nearly literally) explode with people and tents and pumpkins and food. Foooooooooooood. Really, it's all about the food. But the sights are pretty nice, too. You can see the full set of photos here.

May it always be summer in my heart....

I know most of you sweat through multiple shirts and even a pair of shorts or two this year, but this summer was glorious here in these hills. I will miss it. The leaves, they are a-changing.

In the studio....

....and by "studio" I mean worktable in the basement. Here's what I've been working on, quite piecemeal, over the last few months. Druzies and geodes, ohhhhh my. Yumms.

Nice People.

You know who's a nice person? Quincy from Pearson Maron. She sent me this Rainbow Factory. For almost no reason (She claims I guessed her age correctly on my third try on twitter. I say she's just nice. OR it was all a ploy to get herself featured on my world-famous, highly successful blog.) It's a special version with a different color rainbow on either side. I Luuuuuurve It.
